Philip Sotiriades – Ph.D.

Dr. Philip Sotiriades received his Diploma in Physics at 18/11/1999 and his Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineer & Computer Science from the University of Patras, Greece in 1999 & 2005 respectively. He is currently CEO at Telematic Medical Applications Ltd., where it was founded in 2007. He has been involved in various research projects funded by the Greek Government, the European Union, the Greek Telecommunication Organization, and the major Greek Telecommunication industries. His research & industrial interests include telemedicine, context awareness, ontologies in the medical information domain, next-generation networks, cloud technologies, PACSII technologies and Services, Maritime telemedicine, web multimedia services, data management, and Artificial Intelligence in medical applications, telemedicine development platforms, and medical communication networks.
