Periklis Papadopoulos

Aerospace Engineering Professor and Astrophysicist, NASA, Stanford University
Dr. Periklis Papadopoulos, Ph.D. is co-founder of Mind Travel Technologies and has an established record of bringing challenging projects to successful conclusions.

Among other achievements, Dr. Papopoulous founded Space Systems, LLC in 2003 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He led a team of researchers that successfully completed several contracts from the US Air Force. He served as a member of the NASA-ARC COBRA team responsible for designing a next generation Mars Entry vehicle able to land heavy payload delivery systems. During his tenure at NASA, he was recognized with several spotlight awards including NASA’s prestigious Turning Goals Into Reality (TGIR) award. His scientific contributions to the space program have been published in over 60 conference and journal publications. Dr. Papadopoulos holds a tenure, full professor position at California’s San Jose State University where he directed the microsatellite and cube-sat program and laboratory.
Dr. Papadopoulos earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Illinois institute of Technology and Master’s and Doctorate Degrees from Stanford University.
